The Phoenix Suns have narrowed their head coaching search to five candidates: Chris Quinn, Johnnie Bryant, Jordan Ott, Dave Bliss and Sean Sweeney.
Quinn is an assistant coach with the Miami Heat. Bryant is currently with the Cleveland Cavaliers after previous stints under Quin Snyder with the Utah Jazz and Tom Thibodeau with the New York Knicks. Ott is also an assistant coach with the Cavaliers. Bliss is currently an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Sweeney has worked under Jason Kidd across the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and now the Dallas Mavericks.
The Suns are searching for a first-time head coach after hiring Frank Vogel and then Mike Budenholzer over the past two seasons. The Suns also parted ways with Monty Williams shortly after Mat Ishbia assumed control of the franchise in 2023.
