Former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos shared on Tuesday that he’s been in the hospital for 10 days now.
Ceballos, 52, has been battling COVID-19. He’s been in the ICU for 10 days, as a result.
“On my 10th day in ICU, COVID-19 is officially kicking my but, I am asking ALL family, friends , prayer warriors healers for your prayers and well wish for my recovery,” Ceballos said on Twitter. “If I have done and anything to you in the past , allow me to publicly apologize. My fight is not done….. Thx.”
We wish Ceballos all the best as he continues a bout with COVID.

Cedric Ceballos spent the majority of his NBA career with the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers. He also had stops with the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat.
The former 6-foot-7 forward made a name for himself in the 1992 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He won the competition with a classic blindfolded two-handed slam.
Ceballos’ best professional years spanned from 1993 to 1995. He scored 19.1 points per game in the 1993-94 season for the Suns and 21.7 points per game in the 1994-95 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. His best performance came on Dec. 20, 1994 when he scored 50 against the Timberwolves.
Ceballos retired from the NBA following the 2000-01 season in which he played for the Miami Heat.
