The Phoenix Suns took some injury hits during the loss at the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. Devin Booker was forced to leave the game early due to a right ankle injury. This happened after guard Jalen Green was forced to leave after playing just four minutes due to precautionary right hamstring tightness.
Green has appeared in just four games this season for the Suns. Green suffered a hamstring strain in the preseason, before returning for a game-plus in early November. The veteran shooting guard then was out for two-and-half months before returning for a game-plus earlier this week.
There’s no indication on how much time Green might miss. However, expect Phoenix to be cautious with Green coming back too early, given the high re-injury rate for hamstring strains and the player’s recent injury history.
