Drake and Shakira have previously caught Phoenix Suns fever.
Now Justin Bieber is giving the Suns a pop cultural boost. Working with his creative pal Nick DeMoura, the singer posted a picture on Instagram of himself wearing a hoodie referencing Devin Booker’s game-winning shot over the Los Angeles Clippers in last season’s NBA bubble.
And it’s no ordinary hoodie.
That would be a Warren Lotas “The Final Shot” Devin Booker hoodie.
Would you shell out $340 for a hoodie featuring a skeletonized Booker laying on his back after hitting a game-winning shot and on fire?
If that’s not your style, the t-shirt is only $150.
The only question this leaves is whether Bieber is wearing the hoodie while filming a music video — and if an artistically conceptualized Book will appear in that music video (He has appeared as his real self in a Drake music video).
Either way, Bieber should have a soft place in the hearts of Valley sports fans.
In 2016, he donned a Max Domi Arizona Coyotes jersey during a concert in Glendale.
Bieber also got baptized in former Phoenix Suns center Tyson Chandler’s bathtub.
This is a two-way street of love, too. The Suns have worn stuff with Bieber on it. Then-rookie Kendall Marshall was forced — per rookie hazing protocols — to wear a Justin Bieber backpack during training camp in 2012.
