NBA fans were asked some interesting questions and the results are not shocking unfortunately.
When will the Suns get their due on the national scale? It looks like, despite their impressive playoff run, folks are still skeptical.
This SBNation Reacts poll question asked NBA fans which team they thought would be more likely to reach the NBA Finals again next season, and the results are strongly in favor of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Now, there is the other side of the coin to look at (apologies for the terrible Bucks-related pun) in terms of NBA fans being high on the Bucks in general. They are going to be one of the favorites to win it all this year of course along with Brooklyn, and Los Angeles.
The Draft Kings futures (to win the NBA title) odds go as follows:
- Brooklyn Nets: +200
- Los Angeles Lakers: +400
- Milwaukee Bucks: +900
- Golden State Warriors: +1100
- Utah Jazz: +1500
- Phoenix Suns: +1700
- Los Angeles Clippers: +1700
These top 7 seem to be the general favorites to have a shot at winning it all, as the odds drop to the +2000 range for the teams that come in that next tier such as Denver or Philadelphia.
So while I think part of the poll leaning heavily towards the Bucks is fans taking them as a serious repeat threat, there’s also a good chunk that are still not sold on the Suns quite clearly.
Additionally, NBA fans lean towards skepticism of the Lakers’ addition of Russell Westbrook. This poll asked NBA fans if they think the Lakers will regret the Westbrook trade. 54 percent of the fans seem to think so.
I’m in agreement with that 54% of the fan voting here personally, though I could certainly see a world where I’m proven wrong. Talent is talent, but I think the Lakers chemistry, age and durability are all huge question marks heading into the season.

Sticking on the topic of Suns’ rivals and/or competition out West, the polled NBA fans seem to be torn on whether or not the Warriors should go all-in or rebuild.
I personally think they should pick one direction and go all-in, and with Steph Curry on your roster, it would be irresponsible of them to not throw all of their chips in and go for one last ring. That being said, as a Suns fan, I’m more than happy with them sticking to this “one foot in, one foot out” approach.
