The New Orleans Pelicans gave the reigning Western Conference champs all they could handle in Round 1. But, with Devin Booker’s return the Suns were eventually able to pull out a hard-fought series.
But it took extreme focus. And as ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst reports, Chris Paul made sure everyone on the team’s head was where it needed to be.
“From what I hear,” Windhorst laid out. “Chris Paul instituted a curfew in New Orleans during the series. … Not from the coaching staff. Chris Paul issued it.”

New Orleans is certainly known for its one of a kind nightlife, but CP3’s and the Suns are on a mission.
And the Point God held up his end of the bargain in Game 6, closing out the Pelicans with a 14-14 performance from the field in Phoenix’s 115-109 win.
In year 17, Chris Paul is still searching for his long-awaited ring. And while enforcing curfew’s doesn’t necessarily lead to NBA championships, it shows how bad the 12-time All-Star wants it.
