The Kevin Durant trade reports continue to soar in. The latest is from ESPN NBA Insider Shams Charania, who reported Wednesday that Durant and his business partner Rich Kleinman are “sorting through trade options,” which includes deals with the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks.
Additionally, Charania reports that “several wild-card suitors have made inquiries on Durant in the past seven to 10 days.”

However, Since Charania’s article released, Newsday Knicks Reporter Steve Popper reported that New York is “not one of the teams in on Durant.”
BTW, while the coaching search is on – hearing from a league source that despite reports — and his all-time greatness — Knicks are not one of teams in on Durant.

Durant, 36, has one year left on his 4-year contract he signed with the Brooklyn Nets back in 2022. He’s eligible to sign a two-year extension with any team he is traded to starting on July 6. In his two full seasons with the Suns, he’s been an All-Star Starter, made All-NBA, and led the team in scoring. His 26.8 points per game as a Sun is the highest average in franchise history.
Since the Suns spoke to other teams about trading Durant before the February trade deadline, combined with Phoenix’s poor season, rumors and reports have circulated about his future. He was almost traded to the Golden State Warriors in February, but he made it clear he was not interested in a reunion and wanted to end the season with the Suns.
Stay tuned with Bright Side for the latest updates on Durant’s future.
