According to Marc Stein, the Suns have interest in one of the biggest names out there.
The Phoenix Suns reportedly have “strong interest” in former Golden State Warriors executive Bob Myers, according to Marc Stein’s “The Stein Line” newsletter.

The teaser highlights it as a “dream target” for Phoenix. I will not leak any of the actual report out of respect to Stein since it’s behind paid content, but you can find the link below.

Stein did include that it was co-authored by Jake Fischer.
Phoenix currently employs James Jones as the President of Basketball Operations and General Manager, though his contract is set to expire in June. Josh Bartelstein is also involved as the CEO of the Suns, but it is said he is more on the business/operations side.
Myers has a stacked resume. He is a 2x NBA Executive of the Year, a 4x NBA Champion, and the architect of the Golden State Warriors dynasty.
He built a winning culture in the Bay Area after spending 11 seasons there as President of Basketball Operations / General Manager.

The Phoenix Suns want Bob Myers. The question is, does Bob Myers want the Phoenix Suns?
The role isn’t very attractive from the outside looking in. There is very little roster flexibility and assets to work with, and he would be inheriting a mess.
In order for Bob to take this job, there would have to be some guarantees of full control and a whole lot of money. One thing is for certain: Mat Ishbia is not afraid to spend.
