How are Suns fans feeling about the new GM’s tenure so far?

While the Phoenix Suns’ title odds remain some of the longest in the league according to FanDuel, new Suns GM Brian Gregory has made moves to fortify the team’s young core and worked on building better relationships with players and staff members.
He’s been very vocal on having strong franchise “alignment” from top to bottom, and his actions so far represent that. Devin Booker had a strong say in who the Suns hired for head coach, and many of the players the team acquired have a lot to prove, like Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks, who the team acquired in the Kevin Durant deal with the Houston Rockets.
After lacking a strong interior presence the past few seasons, the Suns now have two massive seven-footers in Khaman Maluach and Mark Williams, both of whom have the potential to grow their games, being 18 and 23, respectively.
The Valley’s point guard situation is still pretty bleak despite resigning Collin Gillespie, and the Bradley Beal situation continues to be a looming one, so overall, I would give Gregory a B, which is what most Suns fans would also grade his tenure so far as well.

While we’re only about two months into Gregory’s tenure, the mostly B grades do not surprise me so far. For a team that exhausted so many of their assets to go all-in to win the title the past few seasons and failed miserably, Gregory is attempting to establish a young core to develop around Devin Booker, and I think Suns fans appreciate that.
Many Suns fans appeared ready to move on from Kevin Durant, and Gregory did exactly that,t acquiring a lottery pick in the process that they used to draft Maluach, a highly touted prospect that was expected to go earlier in the draft than he did.
If Gregory finds a way to get rid of Bradley Beal without exhausting the team’s future assets or putting them deeper into financial troubles, then perhaps his approval rating would improve from a B to an A for most Suns fans. With what he’s done so far, fans seem to be mostly happy.
What do you think Gregory needs to do to strengthen his approval rating from Suns fans?
