Devin Booker was sent back to the locker room after a nasty head-to-head collision with Clippers guard Patrick Beverley.
Late in the third quarter, the Suns’ star shooting guard was dribbling out the perimeter when Beverley reached in for a steal. Beverley’s forehead came in direct contact with Booker’s nose, sending him crashing to the floor immediately.
Heading over to the bench with a towel over his face, cameras showed a glimpse of Booker’s nose with blood cascading down the bridge. Beverley’s head also appeared to be cut, leaving his white Los Angeles jersey stained with blood.
Both players were sent back into the locker room for evaluation.

Following his outstanding 40-point triple-double in Game 1, Booker is having a relatively off night in Game 2. Through three quarters, the two-time All Star has just 11 points, 5 assists and three fouls.
Despite a lack of production from their star guard, the Suns are still leading the Clippers 75-71 heading into the fourth. Phoenix guard Cam Payne and center Deandre Ayton have stepped up and combined for 43 points on the night so far.
Beverley has returned to the court with a new jersey. Booker also returned just before the fourth quarter accompanied by a roar from the Suns crowd.
According to a pre-fourth quarter interview with Phoenix head coach Monty Williams, Booker quickly received stitches from the training staff before his return.
