The Arizona Cardinals get help along the defensive line in a new 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

The Arizona Cardinals are sitting and waiting for he offseason to really start next week after the Super Bowl has come and gone.

While we await to see if the Kansas City Chiefs can make history, we can enjoy another mock draft, this one from Eric Edholm of NFL.com who dropped his first mock draft of the offseason.

From NFL.com:

16. Arizona Cardinals – Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia

This defense needs help at multiple spots. Williams and 2024 first-rounder Darius Robinson could be a strong duo for Jonathan Gannon’s unit to build around.

Williams has slowly grown in his three seasons as a Georgia contributor, and had his best season in his last.

He finished with a career high five sacks and nine tackles for loss.

His listed size, 6-5 and 265lbs, and allegedly can move in a sub 4.7 40 yard dash, makes him incredibly intriguing, as does his 20-year old age, which means he has time to continue to grow.

Here is Lance Zierlein’s profile on Williams:

An upside prospect with loads of traits, Williams simply needs more snaps and more time to fill out his frame. He is an explosive athlete who uses his exceptional length to keep tackles and tight ends at the end of his punch. He plays a little too tall at the point and needs to get stronger to shed blocks more quickly, but he plays with good physicality in the trenches and is never pushed around. He’s still learning moves and counters but already has a big bull rush, good secondary effort and the closing burst to become a sack blanket in the pocket. He’s not there yet, but Williams’ improvement to become an impactful 4-3 base end feels inevitable.

Should he be the pick, it would give the Arizona Cardinals some youth, size and massive upside along the defensive line.
