We have made it another day in the NFL offseason and we are that much closer until the Arizona Cardinal kick off their season for the 2021 season.
In 88 days, they will take on the Tennessee Titans on the road.
With 88 days left in the offseason, we look back at some players who have worn No. 88.
No. 88 is actually retired.
It was retired in honor of tight end J.V. Cain, who died of a congestive heart failure in Cardinals training camp on his 28th birthday in 1979.
He was coming back from an injury that kept him out of the 1978 season.
It was also worn by Sonny Randle, No. 9 in franchise history in receiving yards and No. 11 in receptions.
