The Arizona Cardinals have some interesting decisions to make as the 2021 NFL Draft approaches.

As things change, we are seeing different mock drafts come out and a really interesting one came through on Monday from Pro Football Focus.

Let’s take a look.

16. ARIZONA CARDINALS — EDGE JAELAN PHILLIPS, MIAMI (FLA.)

Jaelan Phillips was regarded as the No. 1 overall recruit by the 247Sports Composite coming out of Redlands East Valley High School. He racked up 218 tackles, 30.5 sacks and two interceptions in his junior and senior seasons combined en route to being tagged as a five-star recruit.

However, Phillips suffered three severe concussions early in his UCLA career that led to him retiring from football ahead of the 2019 season. He eventually returned to the game to play for Miami (Fla.) in 2020 and turned in one of the better seasons of any pass-rusher in the country. The concussion concerns will drive all of the conversation surrounding Phillips, but there’s no arguing he’s one of the most purely talented defensive prospects in the class.

49. ARIZONA CARDINALS — WR KADARIUS TONEY, FLORIDA

Jaelan Phillips is going to start flying up draft boards, but many have said he is the best edge prospect in the class, even being compared to Arizona Cardinals All Pro Chandler Jones.

Phillips would give the Cardinals an immediate pass rushing threat, but also give them an opportunity to move on from Jones if need be in 2022 when his contract is up.

Kadarius Toney is an interesting piece. He is a dynamic player with the ball in his hand and would give the Cardinals a true slot receiver, something they have not had.

What would you think of this draft for the first two days for the Arizona Cardinals?
