Taking a look at an intriguing Arizona Cardinals wide receiver room.
Happy Monday one and all.
The Arizona Cardinals will be active this week, and we should all be excited.
After improving each of the first two seasons, improvement is not enough. Now, it is expected that the Cardinals will compete and take a step forward into a perennial playoff contender.
More on that later, today we continue our preview of the roster with a look at the wide receiver room.
We know the top four, but after that, who fills out the roster, how many do they keep, and are there any breakout players they can find?
Wide receiver room: Players need to take the next step.
Starters – Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson
Third receiver battle – Greg Dortch, Zay Jones
The Free Agent Addition – Simi Fehoko, Quez Watkins
Young and Intriguing – Xavier Weaver, Tejhaun Palmer
Always Here – Andre Baccellia
Can they make the roster – Trishton Jackson, Bryson Green, Valentin Senn
The top four seem like locks, Fehoko seems close to a lock, and then there is the decision between Weaver, Palmer and Watkins.
Seems like Palmer would likely make it to the practice squad once again, similar to Watkins, but if one or both outplay Weaver/Fehoko, who gets the spots?
