Cardinals kicker Matt Prater is officially inactive for Arizona’s Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Prater was limited in the last three days of practice after missing last Sunday’s game with a left knee injury but is unable to suit up for the second consecutive week.
The news comes after the Cardinals elevated kicker Chad Ryland on Saturday. Ryland filled in for Prater last week and hit the game-winning field from 35 yards out for a 24-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Other Arizona inactives include linebackers Victor Dimukeje and Xavier Thomas, cornerback Darren Hall and tight end Travis Vokolek.
They join defensive lineman Darius Robinson and wide receiver Zay Jones, who were ruled out on Friday.
As for the Packers, safety Kitan Oladapo, tight end John FitzPatrick, defensive linemen Brenton Cox Jr. and Devonte Wyatt and offensive tackles Andre Dillard and Travis Glover are inactive.
Who’s active for Cardinals-Packers?
While Prater won’t go, cornerback Garrett Williams (groin), along with offensive tackles Kelvin Beachum (hamstring) and Christian Jones (ankle) are active for Sunday’s game.
Rookie wide receiver Xavier Weaver will suit up for the first time this season.
For the Packers, cornerback Jaire Alexander, along with wide receiver Christian Watson and offensive tackle Rasheed Walker are active.
The Cardinals take on the Packers at 10:00 a.m. AZT. Catch all the action on the the Arizona Sports app, 98.7 and ArizonaSports.com
