The Arizona Cardinals have done quite a bit to address the cornerback position, but there is one move left that they could make that could be the big difference in this offseason.
Stephon Gilmore seems to be in a similar situation for the New England Patriots to the one Chandler Jones is in with the Arizona Cardinals.
He is out of guaranteed money and probably looking for more, and that has lead him to skip the offseason workouts for the Patriots.
Patriots CB Stephon Gilmore is due to make only $7 million this year, and he’s been staying away from offseason workouts. Will he show up for mandatory minicamp on Monday? https://t.co/gLaGTTKUWo

If you are the Arizona Cardinals, this is the move you need to be eyeing more than any other.
Gilmore is still one of the elite cornerbacks in the NFL and would give the Cardinals the leader and cornerback one they team is lacking.
He would also allow the Cardinals to decide how they want to deploy Byron Murphy and Malcolm Butler.
It would probably make the Cardinals offseason one of the best in the league.
However, what can the Cardinals give up and how much would they be willing to pay Gilmore in an extension? Those are of course the big hangups, but as far as the player goes, he would be a nice cherry on top to a good Cardinals offseason.
