The Arizona Cardinals could be getting reinforcement along the offensive line.
The Arizona Cardinals have opened the practice window for veteran offensive lineman Jonah Williams.
From the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has designated offensive lineman Jonah Williams to return from the injured reserve list.
Williams can begin practicing and the team can activate him to the 53-man roster at any time during the next 21 days or at the conclusion of the three-week period.
On top of that, after clearing two spots on the practice squad yesterday, they have added two defensive players.
In addition, the team has signed linebacker Milo Eifler (MEE-low / EYE-fler) and defensive lineman Anthony Goodlow to the practice squad. The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.
Eifler (6-1, 228) has played 15 games with Atlanta (2023) and Washington (2021-22) in his career and has two tackles on defense and two special teams tackles. He entered the NFL in 2021 with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent from Illinois and played 13 games with Washington over his first two seasons in the league. Last year with Atlanta, Eifler played in two games and was also on the Falcons practice squad.
Goodlow (6-5, 284) signed with the Rams in May as an undrafted rookie free agent from Oklahoma State. He played one season at Oklahoma State in 2023 and appeared in 14 games, collecting 42 tackles and 3.0 sacks. Prior to Oklahoma State, Goodlow played at Tulsa (2018-22) where he appeared in 48 games and had 12.0 sacks.
Eifler will wear jersey #53 and Goodlow will wear #97.
Welcome back to Jonah Williams, and welcome to the desert Milo and Anthony.
