The Arizona Cardinals are favorites in their season opener for the first time since 2016.

The Arizona Cardinals know their 2025 NFL schedule now and they once again open on the road, but this season against a team in flux.
The Cardinals open things up in 2025 with an early road game against the New Orleans Saints, and according to our friends over at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Arizona Cardinals open as 4.5-point favorites.
That is not surprising with what is going on in New Orleans, as they will be starting either Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler… or other, at quarterback after Derek Carr retired.
However, as Arizona Cardinals fans, road favorites are more of an anomaly than something we are used to seeing.
Add to that the Cardinals have not opened the season as favorites in a game since 2016 and this is a new feeling for Arizona Cardinals fans.
So that begs the question, are you taking the Cardinals to cover in week one?
