Super Bowl LIX is Sunday afternoon and will put a bow on the 2024 NFL season. Either the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles will be the world champions.
A Chiefs title would mean an unprecedented three consecutive Super Bowl wins. They beat the Eagles two years ago and hope to do it again.
The Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites in the game, according to BetMGM Sportsbook, while the total is set at 48.5.
The betting public is fairly split about the outcome of the game in terms of the winner but are very certain about one thing. Fans expect the game to be high-scoring.
Of the bets on the total, 74% are on the Over.
As for the outcome of the game, 58% of the moneyline bets are on the Eagles to win.
But 53% of the spread bets have come in for the Chiefs.
So basically, the public is split on a outcome for the champion, but is pretty certain it will have at least 49 combined points.
