With the franchise tag period right around the corner the Arizona Cardinals have some decisions they need to make before free agency.
No player is more important or a bigger question mark than Haason Reddick.
Bleacher Report looked at the one player every team needs to re-sign this offseason, and B/R had Reddick as the Cardinals.
Arizona Cardinals: Edge Haason Reddick
Arizona isn’t loaded with salary-cap space, but Reddick should take priority over Golden and cornerback Patrick Peterson, who has shown signs of decline at age 30.
The Cardinals have some immediate questions at cornerback, but their long-term outlook at the edge position is just as big of a question.
In fact, corner and edge are the two most important pieces to a defense and the Cardinals could have no one of significance in 2022 if they are not careful.
That is why B/R is right, they need to make Reddick a priority this offseason and make sure he is in the fold moving forward.
