The Arizona Cardinals players are on their break before training camp at the end of July and the NBA playoffs are in full swing. The Phoenix Suns have captivated fans in Arizona and around the country, making the Western Conference Finals and, after a 104-103 win over the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night, took a 2-0 lead in their series.
Cardinals players were watching. Several reacted to the end of the game.
Receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who knows something about big plays at the end of a game for a win, loved the game-winning play by Deandre Ayton.
Wow!!! What a pass but even better finish by @DeandreAyton

The play is somewhat reminiscent of Hopkins’ Hail Murray touchdown catch against the Buffalo Bills.

Offensive lineman Branden Bowen, a player most won’t know, is all in on the Suns right now.
WOOOOOOOWWWWW. #RallyTheValley

J.J. Watt reacted this way after the Clippers’ Paul George missed two free throws after a questionable call and review to give the ball to the Clippers. He also thinks the Suns can sweep the series.
BALL DON’T LIE!!!
Suns in 4!#RallyTheValley

And we can’t forget the reaction of Larry Fitzgerald, who is currently a free agent but is also is a part owner of the Suns. He did not tweet anything but he was courtside and his reaction to Ayton’s game-winning dunk was caight on video.
Suns win. What an out of bounds play. How wasn’t Monty Williams coach of the year? @Suns pic.twitter.com/RjT2li7d5U

What a summer for the Suns and Arizona sports fans. It will be up to the Cardinals to keep this up in the fall.
