Cardinals fans are already excited for the upcoming season.

The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL are now in their quiet period. We can’t even fight over the upcoming NFL Free Agent and NFL Draft because we are done.
So, that begs the question: are you excited?
Everyone is excited during the pre-free agency period and then that either ramps up or completely implodes depending on how much you and the fanbase like what happened.
Then of course it grows again as we head into the NFL Draft.
However, with how the Arizona Cardinals played last year, with how the offseason went and then how they were able to get some perceived good value.
So, it makes a whole lot of sense that 63% of the fanbase is already excited for the 2025 NFL season.
I fall into the second part.
Not because I don’t love what this team did, but as I have gotten further into my own coaching career, I have learned that what I perceive doesn’t matter. Now, I’ve been fortunate to have coached really good teams, but I’m actually nervous about how good we actually are until I see it against an opponent.
Once I see it on the field, my confidence doesn’t soar, but it helps me believe that we can compete with anyone.
That’s where I am as a fan of the Arizona Cardinals.
I see a talented team, maybe the most talented since 2021, but what I perceive doesn’t matter. What they do on the field matters, but that’s also my own cope.
Whether it’s in my own coaching, watching my sons in high school, or being cursed by being born and raised a Cardinals fan, excitement manifests in nerves. So, I keep those away as long as possible.
But I truly think that the excitement should be at a high we haven’t seen in a long time.
This is the most aligned the front office, coaching staff and roster has been since early in the Bruce Arians years.
