The former Georgia Bulldog was a sixth round pick in 2019.
In a somewhat surprising move, the Arizona Cardinals have announced they’ve released offensive linemen Lamont Gaillard.

The move will save the club roughly $800k against the cap, however with camp right around the corner it’s hard to justify this as a money move.
Gaillard was taken in the sixth round back in 2019 before appearing in 13 games in 2020. He made two starts at center following an early season injury to Mason Cole.
Earlier this offseason, the Cardinals acquired All Pro center Rodney Hudson and subsequently traded Cole to Minnesota.
Gaillard was likely set to compete on the interior with Justin Murray, Josh Jones and newly signed veteran Brian Winters. Max Garcia is also expected to compete for a roster spot.
The team also utilized a day three draft pick this year on former Penn State center Michal Menet, although he has a long way to go before making the roster.
