Let’s check in with the Arizona Cardinals training camp.
Happy Saturday one and all.
The Arizona Cardinals have kicked off training camp and while we are still in the beginning stages, meaning no hitting yet, we have seen some interesting things.
Let’s check in with those on the ground and see what is happening.
Will Johnson and Cody Simon already earning first-team reps is a testament not only to their physical gifts but also their football IQ.
Future cornerstone players under Nick Rallis.

I talked with Jess about this the other day on the podcast, but Cody Simon is a problem, and a good one.
There are things that make inside linebackers, and one of those things is just an innate ability of understanding what you’re seeing and how to stop it.
The instincts from Simon make me think he will be a starter and I believe sooner than later.
Johnson, he’s just special. If he stays healthy I truly believe we are going to see an All Pro.
Jonathan Gannon confirms the Cardinals plan to move LB Baron Browning “around”.
Having a good camp and benefiting from a full offseason with the club.

I feel like we are going to finally see Nick Rallis and Jonathan Gannon’s defense for the first time. They have weapons to move around and use.
One of the more interesting battles is who will be the Arizona Cardinals third receiver. Right now it seems like Zay Jones.
Zay Jones getting the nod in 11 personnel for the Arizona Cardinals starting offense.

There’s definitely more, but it is early in camp and these are the things that have stood out so far.
