ESPN has two Arizona Cardinals in their top 50 free agents for 2021

With the 2021 NFL offseason about to get underway, the Arizona Cardinals have some decisions to make on their own free agents.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN listed his top 50 free agents heading into the 2021 NFL offseason and two Arizona Cardinals made it.

Check it out below or on E$PN:

24. Haason Reddick, EDGE

Best fit: Denver Broncos

Though Matt Rhule loves his Temple guys, Carolina’s 4-3 defense might not fit Reddick, who finally found a home as a 3-4 pass-rusher. Denver has a big decision to make on Von Miller’s $17.5 million option. Miller turns 32 in March, and even if Denver brings him back, it needs to plan for the future at pass-rusher opposite Bradley Chubb (though Malik Reed is a good in-house option).

31. Patrick Peterson, CB

Best fit: Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders need leadership in the secondary in the worst way. Peterson turns 31 in July and has made $94 million, so maybe team fit and contention will be most important to him. Also watch for Tampa, where Peterson’s former coaches Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles are coming off a Super Bowl appearance.

It is interesting that the Cardinals top two free agents are both key defensive players and Fowler has both looking at different places for their next contract.

While it seems far-fetched right now to see both back with the Cardinals, it seems like it would be a mistake to not have either one back in the fold in 2021.

Are you surprised that Reddick and Peterson were in the top 50? What about Fowler not putting either back with the team?
