The Arizona Cardinals top play of the 2020 season is onto the quarterfinals in the ESPY voting for “Best Play”.
From the team:
The “Hail Murray” featuring Cardinals QB Kyler Murray and WR DeAndre Hopkins is one of eight quarterfinalists for “Best Play” at the 2021 ESPYS.
After advancing to the Elite Eight last week by defeating Villanova QB Daniel Smith’s memorable TD pass vs. Delaware, the “Hail Murray” is now up against the one-handed interception by Clemson’s Andrew Booth Jr. in the Tigers October victory over Virginia.

The four finalists will be unveiled on Friday, June 25th. The winner will be announced on The ESPYS on July 10th airing at 5:00 PM (Arizona time) on ABC.
One of the enduring moments of the 2020 NFL season, the 43-yard Murray-to-Hopkins touchdown pass with just 0:02 on the clock gave Arizona a 32-30 win over Buffalo in Week 10. Four plays earlier, Bills WR Stefon Diggs had a 21-yard touchdown catch with 0:34 remaining, marking just the second time in 60 years that a game featured multiple go-ahead touchdown passes in the final 40 seconds of regulation.
The “Hail Murray” was named the 2020 Bridgestone Clutch Play of the Year at NFL Honors in February.
Make sure you vote for Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins for the ESPY.
