There are dominoes in each draft.
One domino that is a big one outside of where the quarterbacks go is Kyle Pitts.
We discussed how Pitts has become the biggest name in the 2021 NFL Draft aside from the quarterbacks and now the question becomes will the Cowboys move up for Pitts?
If they were to move up, it could create a space where one of the top cornerbacks in Jaycee Horn or Patrick Surtain II fall down to the 16th pick,
Let’s say the Bengals move down from five to 10 for a haul of picks. The move could create a vacuum where Pitts goes five, Chase goes six, the Lions then have their pick of offensive linemen.
That leaves the Panthers, who need CB help, but haven’t been mocked that way much and the Broncos who could be the first team that looks at cornerback.
If the top ten goes corner-less, then we could see both Horn and Surtain move down a couple of slots.
The Eagles, Chargers and Vikings could all use cornerbacks, but are all in desperate need of offensive linemen as well.
That could mean one or both of the top corners fall to 16.
What do you think? Could Horn or Surtain make it to 16?
