If the Arizona Cardinals don’t go running back early, can they get one late?

The debate on what the Arizona Cardinals should or should not do with the 16th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft focus’ quite a bit on value.

One of the biggest questions is can the Cardinals afford to draft a running back with the 16th pick? Or, can they afford to wait?

With the way the running back class looks, if the Cardinals don’t draft one early, should they even draft one late?

We all know the top three guys:

Najee Harris (ADP – 23)

Travis Etienne (ADP – 45)

Javonte Williams (ADP – 62)

Now the question is if they can’t get any of these players, where do they go in the draft?

Justin and I discussed our top five running backs this week and there are three names later I like that fit what they need: A big back, who can run downhill with power.

Trey Sermon
Khalil Herbert
Kylin Hill

Hill is the smallest at 210lbs, he runs downhill well and runs with his hair on fire.

Herbert is a 5-9 and 212lbs bowling ball of back who produced at Kansas then decided to transfer and produced at Virginia Tech.

Sermon is the best of the bunch, in my mind and would give the Cardinals a potential every down back.

Who do you like late?
