We have not yet reached the 2021 NFL season but we know what the important dates for the 2022 offseason will be. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the NFLPA sent a memo to player agents about dates for next year agreed upon with the league.

Beginning February 22, teams can begin to use franchise and transition tags up until March 8.
The new league year will begin March 16, when free agency officially begins and trades can be made.
Teams with new head coaches can begin their offseason program April 4, while teams with returning head coaches can begin April 18.
The last day to sign a restricted free agent to an offer sheet is April 22, while the last day for a team match another team’s offer sheet is April 27.
The NFL draft will be held from April 28-30.
