When you look at the Arizona Cardinals offseason they likely won’t have a more hyped acquisition than the first one they made in their signing of J.J. Watt to a two-year deal.
Watt is a first ballot Hall of Famer and has put together one of the most incredible careers we have seen a defensive player have.
The question is, will he be a game changer for the Arizona Cardinals?
Watt no doubt is still a difference maker when he is healthy, but does he change the Cardinals defense from good like it was in 2020 to great in 2021?
That is what the expectations and the paycheck are for Watt and the Cardinals.
When it comes to putting in the work, there is no doubt that Watt will do just that, and he will bring an energy and leadership lacking in 2020.
The Cardinals will definitely improve in the pass rush department, and that should in turn help what is an unknown in the secondary.
What are you thoughts on the signing?
