The Arizona Cardinals have had a seemingly contentious relationship with star quarterback Kyler Murray this offseason. But they may have mended the fences by bringing Marquise “Hollywood” Brown into the fold.
Arizona traded their first-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for Brown, reuniting Murray with his former Oklahoma teammate. If the move was made in any part to make their disgruntled quarterback happy, mission accomplished.
Murray took to Twitter right after the trade and expressed his love for the move. He welcomed Brown to Arizona and said he’s looking forward to running it back.
“Let’s run it back! Hollywood to the desert… Y’all welcome my boy!” Murray wrote.

The 2018 college football season saw Kyler Murray and Hollywood Brown form one of the best passing combinations in college football history. Murray threw for 42 touchdowns that year – 10 of which were caught by Brown.
Murray went on to win the Heisman Trophy before going No. 1 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. Brown earned First-Team All-American honors and went 25th overall to the Ravens.
Since then, Murray has become a Pro Bowler and just led Arizona to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Brown has become a 1,000-yard receiver and is coming off his best season.
Now Brown will be teaming up with all-world receiver DeAndre Hopkins to potentially form one of the NFL’s best receiving corps.
If that doesn’t get Kyler Murray back on board in Arizona, nothing will.
