The NFL Draft is less than a month away, and with most of the meat of free agency picked off the bone, we’re in prime mock draft season.
The past week was the busiest for mocks around the internet, as we’ve added 40 new ones on the Arizona Sports NFL Mock Draft Tracker.
Previous trends remain popular for the Arizona Cardinals, owners of the 16th overall pick of this year’s first round. Of the 40 new projections, 29 of them have Steve Keim nabbing a cornerback. South Carolina’s Jaycee Horn (13) and Virginia Tech’s Caleb Farley (11) remain the most popular names connected to the Cardinals. Northwestern’s Greg Newsome showed up twice, while Alabama’s Patrick Surtain II, Georgia’s Tyson Campbell and Kentucky’s Kelvin Joseph also appeared.
Only seven mocks had the Cardinals drafting an offensive player in the first round, with Alabama’s Najee Harris, DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle all appearing.
