The Arizona Cardinals are looking to take the next step in 2025, as they have improved each of their two seasons under Jonathan Gannon, but this season isn’t just about improving, it is about taking the Cardinals to the playoffs and competing in those playoffs.
The playoffs are weird, it is as much about how hot a team is and how well they have handled injuries as much as it is about the teams overall build.
However, this year is different.
The Cardinals have put a team together on paper, that should not only compete for the playoffs, but has a legitimate shot to win the NFC West.
While the odds may not reflect that in public perception, the reality is they are just as capable as any team in the NFC West.
So, who has the most to prove for the Cardinals to reach that potential in 2025? This was an easy one.
No one has more to prove in 2025 than Kyler Murray.
Now, that doesn’t mean if the season is a a bust it is on Murray, he may play at a good to great level and the team loses, so the focus shifts to others on this list, but the onus is on Murray.
He cannot be the reason this team fails this year.
So it is clear than no one has more to prove in 2025 for the Arizona Cardinals than Murray.
