The 2025 campaign was another strong one for Isaac Seumalo, one of the league’s more underrated blockers. Starting and appearing in 14 games, the Oregon State product spent the season keeping veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers upright and finished the year with a 73.3 PFF grade, the 16th-best mark out of 79 eligible players. With his help, the Steelers won the AFC North but lost to the Houston Texans in the divisional round.
Isaac Seumalo originally entered the league as a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles, the Oregon State product needed some time to earn a spot in the starting lineup. After spending the first two years of his career as a backup, he finally earned a full-time starting job in 2018. He performed well during his first extended stretch of play and signed a three-year extension in the following offseason. This kept him in Philadelphia through the 2022 season, where he remained a reliable starter when healthy.
Seumalo left the Eagles and signed a new contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2023 offseason. Despite now being in his 30s, the veteran remained a steadying presence along the offensive line. He started all 17 games during his first year with the club and finished with a 73.9 PFF grade. One year later, he earned the first Pro Bowl selection of his career while starting and appearing in 13 games.
Since signing his rookie contract, Isaac Seumalo has appeared in 125 games while making 103 starts at both left and right guard. He helped the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl in 2017 and played in another one in 2022.
