After appearing to pick up an injury during the Arizona Cardinals’ 24-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night, quarterback Kyler Murray suffered a sprained ankle, according to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.
On the final drive of the game, the injury appeared to happen while Murray was scrambling away from pressure.

While the injury timeline for Murray could be tough to project, his sprained ankle is expected to be a one-to-two week injury.
“I know he was sore today, and hopefully the next two or three days off will be good for him,” head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Friday. “We’ll see where he’s at next week.”
Murray will receive a couple extra days of rest thanks to the team playing on Thursday night. The Cardinals begin preparation for their Week 9 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, and all eyes will be on Murray to see if he practices.
