Alabama transfer and former four-star recruit Agiye Hall will soon be visiting one of the most prominent programs in college football. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound wideout is reportedly paying a visit to the University of Texas this weekend.
Hall announced his intentions to transfer just a week ago. The decision came after Nick Saban suspended him for violation of team rules. It was a bit of a rollercoaster ride, and both sides were clearly happy to move on. The former four-star recruit is now one of the top players in the portal.
Texas didn’t take long to make contact. Steve Sarkisian – now Texas’ head coach – was Alabama’s offensive coordinator when Hall was recruited to play for the Crimson Tide. That familiarity could prove to go a long way.
Hall will be spending the weekend in Austin as he checks out the Texas Longhorns on a visit, per a 247Sports report.

Playing in a Steve Sarkisian offense is an enticing factor for both high school recruits and transfers. There’s no doubt Agiye Hall is factoring that into his decision, in addition to his previous relationship with Sarkisian.
Will Sarkisian and the Longhorns land the promising prospect from the portal? College football fans are discussing the idea:
Wrote about his potential landing spots last week. Agiye Hall in Austin makes so much sense. #devy https://t.co/fYr3TsoFxh

His primary recruiter at Bama is now the ST/TE coach for Texas. Some familiarity with Sarkisian as well. https://t.co/Fb489z2HZZ

I mentioned Hall could be headed to Texas yesterday, he’s taking a visit this weekend.
Wouldn’t be shocked if that’s the end destination for him.
Xavier Worthy, Isaiah Naylor, Jordan Whittington and Agyie Hall would be one hell of a wide receiver corp. https://t.co/AfxMctb0Kx pic.twitter.com/Zu54P1iCT0

Texas could have one of the best passing attacks in college football next season, especially if the Longhorns can land Hall.
The former Alabama wideout will be in Austin this weekend.
