A cryptic Deshaun Watson tweet has fans of nearly every NFL franchise in a frenzy as they contemplate getting their hands on one of the NFL’s best young quarterbacks.
But Chris Brockman of the Rich Eisen Show believes that there are only six teams that wouldn’t trade for the Houston Texans QB if he’s available. Taking to Twitter, Brockman stated that the Chiefs, Seahawks, Chargers, Bills, Ravens and Cardinals are the only teams that wouldn’t make such a deal.
It’s a pretty solid list. All six of those teams have quarterbacks poised to lead their teams for a decade or more, and rank among the elite to boot.
Deshaun Watson led the NFL in passing yards this year with a franchise record 4,823, while also throwing 33 touchdown passes. But despite his on-field dominance, the Texans went just 4-12 and have no first-round draft pick this year.
this seems obvious, but every team should do whatever it takes to acquire Deshaun Watson if he is indeed available… Chiefs Seahawks Chargers Bills Ravens Cardinals the only teams who wouldn’t do the deal, right? #NFL #NFLPlayoffs

With the kind of talent that Deshaun Watson has, even teams like the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints might be hard-pressed not to take a look at him if he’s made available.
Watson is only 25 years old and just keeps improving by the year. While not quite on the level of Patrick Mahomes or Russell Wilson right now, he trajectory is only going to keep rising.
That said, there’s a new regime in Houston with Nick Caserio taking over as general manager and a new head coach on the way. With no first-round pick, Caserio may want a ton of assets in order to get Houston’s rebuild started.
Deshaun Watson would be an incredible bargaining chip to turn the Texans from a team with few assets to one absolutely flush with them.
Would you want Deshaun Watson on your team?
