Update: Thankfully, Yahoo’s Chris Haynes provided a promising update; and Anthony Edwards is ready to come back.

Former: The Timberwolves could potentially be down a huge piece after Anthony Edwards went back to the locker room with what looks to be a knee injury.

Per Minnesota reporter Dane Moore, “Anthony Edwards appearing to grab his right knee as he heads to the bench, and now he’s being carried to the locker room.” Noting, “Edwards hurt his left knee in Game 3.”

Edwards had to be helped to the locker room about halfway through the first quarter. After receiving the ball, the budding star passed it up and immediately waved to the bench asking to come out, while grabbing at his knee.

This would be a huge loss for the T’Wolves as Anthony Edwards performance has been a big reason for Minnesota being in this series.

Unfortunately, it looked to be a non-contact injury, which is always the scariest when it comes to professional athletes.

In his first career playoff game, the man they call “Ant-Man” dropped 36 points; becoming the third youngest player to ever score 35+ in the postseason.
