Veteran NFL cornerback Josh Norman will be on an official roster for Week 1.
Norman, a 33-year-old cornerback, spent the 2020 season with the Buffalo Bills. The 2015 first-team All-Pro has gone unsigned this offseason, though – until now, that is.
According to FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer, the San Francisco 49ers are signing the veteran defensive back.

Norman, a fifth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Coastal Carolina, began his career with the Carolina Panthers. He played in Carolina through the 2015 season. Norman then spent four seasons with the Washington Football Team.
The veteran cornerback signed a one-year contract in Buffalo ahead of the 2020 season.
Now, he’ll begin the 2021 season with the 49ers.
San Francisco opens the 2021 season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the Detroit Lions.
