The Cleveland Browns are going to have to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers without the services of right tackle Jack Conklin for the rest of the afternoon.
Conklin, who missed the Browns’ last two games with a knee injury, exited today’s game in the first half after hurting his elbow. He was carted off the field.
A short time later, the Browns officially announced that Conklin won’t return.

A first-team All-Pro selection for the Browns last season after signing with the team in free agency, Conklin started the first five games of this year before injuring his knee in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Hopefully, for Cleveland’s sake, whatever elbow issue he’s dealing with now isn’t anything too serious. If he’s out a while, it will be a major blow to the Browns’ terrific offensive line.
Currently, Cleveland and Pittsburgh are tied at 3 late in the second quarter.
