The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the NFL’s best team in 2020, winning the Super Bowl with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
It took a little while for Tom Brady to hit his stride with his new team, but once he did, the Buccaneers were close to unstoppable.
What’s to come of Brady and the Buccaneers in Year 2?
The latest message from Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans should scare the rest of the NFL, especially the Dallas Cowboys – Tampa Bay’s Week 1 opponent.
“We’re miles ahead of what we were last year,” Evans said. “Not just me and his connection, but the whole team—the whole offense. It’s really exciting and hopefully we can do something really special this year.”
Good luck, Dallas.
The Buccaneers and the Cowboys are scheduled to kick off the NFL season on Thursday, Sept. 9. The defending Super Bowl champions will take on America’s Team in the opening game of the NFL regular season.
Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. E.T. on NBC.
