Tom Brady looked at home during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ trip to the White House on Tuesday.
Brady, who has been to the White House a couple of times before in his career with the New England Patriots, cracked jokes and took photos as he celebrated his seventh Super Bowl title in D.C. today.
Brady has become so accustomed to winning championships and being invited to the White House that his blindside protector, offensive tackle Donovan Smith, jokingly asked the quarterback if he has residency at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been here,” Brady said, smiling.
“You got residency here?”

Brady is actually correct here though. The quarterback hasn’t visited the White House since 2005, back when George W. Bush was president.
He didn’t make the trip for any of the Patriots’ last three Super Bowl wins in 2015, 2017 and 2019. Barack Obama was the president in 2015, with Donald Trump in office the last two times New England won it all.
If Brady does want to go to Washington again though, he should have a couple of more chances to get there. Brady’s personal trainer Alex Guerrero said this week he anticipates TB12 will play at least two more years.
