Charles Barkley wasn’t shy about declaring that the Minnesota Timberwolves have to win tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The series is currently tied at one game apiece as it shifts back to Minnesota. The opening two games were in Memphis since it had the better record.
“When you start on the road and get the split, I always tell people that you got to win Game 3,” Barkley said. “If you don’t win Game 3, all of that hard work you did on the road is not going to matter.”

Minnesota took Game 1 in the series by a score of 130-117 before dropping Game 2, 124-96. Game 3 is always seen as a pivotal point in a series since the team that loses would have to win three out of the next four games.
The Timberwolves will need Anthony Edwards to step up again after he had 36 points and six assists in Game 1. Karl Anthony-Towns and Malik Beasley will also need to have great games after having 29 and 23 points respectively in Game 1.
