The college football season is still young, yet we already have a viral moment courtesy of LSU head coach Ed Orgeron.

Coach O and the Tigers will take on the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl Saturday night. It’s a massive contest for both programs. LSU wants to bounce back from a poor 2020 campaign. UCLA needs its first statement win with Chip Kelly at the helm. There’s plenty at stake.

Orgeron is feeling the pressure. As he walked into the Rose Bowl tunnel Saturday night, he got into an exchange with a UCLA fan.

“Bring your ass on, in your sissy blue shirt!,” Orgeron said to the UCLA fan. 

We expect nothing less from Coach O. He’s never shy to interact with opposing fans. It’s why he’s one of college football fans’ favorite coaches in the sport.

“I don’t think it will ever stop being funny to me that Coach O is the head coach at LSU,” a fan said on Twitter. “And they are gonna need a swat team to remove him from the building if he ever gets fired. Just the most improbable match made in heaven.”
