College Football World Reacts To Georgia’s Big Win

September 5, 2021 by The Spun

Georgia quarterback JT Daniels on the field.

The biggest win of the very young 2021 college football season goes to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia, No. 5 in the preseason Top 25 polls, knocked off No. 3 Clemson, 10-3, in Saturday night’s primetime game on ABC.

It was an extremely impressive performance from Georgia, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The Bulldogs wreaked havoc on the Tigers’ offensive line all game long. Clemson quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei had basically no time to throw all night.

The Bulldogs have been knocking on the national championship door for a couple of seasons now. It remains to be seen if this will be the year they finally break through, but this was a pretty great start for Kirby Smart’s team.

This is Kirby Smart’s favorite game of all time.

Look, it’s only halftime, and I know I know Georgia sports etc.

But if you told Kirby Smart he’d be up 7-0 vs Clemson on a pick-six

He’d tell you to wake him up. This is the kind of game he dreams about

Just love that Kirby Smart is about to record one of his biggest wins at UGA and the offense scored three points. Can’t stop laughing.

Smart has made it clear that winning a national championship is the main goal at Georgia moving forward.

“It has to be coming. If it’s not coming then what are we doing?” Smart told reporters earlier this offseason.

While this was a huge win for Georgia, the Bulldogs can’t afford any letups moving forward.

Smart and Co. will take on UAB next weekend before hosting South Carolina on Sept. 18.
