In his seventh year at Michigan, Jim Harbaugh finally led the Wolverines to a win over arch-rival Ohio State, silencing a lot of doubters in the process. But one ESPN analyst pointed out just how special that win might be for Harbaugh.
Taking to Twitter after the game, ESPN’s Marcus Spears joked that Harbaugh may have a lot to say about his colleague, SEC analyst Paul Finebaum. It’s no secret that Finebaum has been Harbaugh’s loudest critic over the years.
Just recently, Finebaum said that Harbaugh was simply “incapable” of beating Ohio State. Well, today Harbaugh proved Finebaum wrong – emphatically.
“#Harbaugh about to be on [Finebaum’s] ass,” Spears wrote. He added about a dozen laughing emojis to help make his point.
#Harbaugh about to be on @finebaum ass 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂

Jim Harbaugh has every right to throw as much shade at Paul Finebaum as he can muster. He finally justified all of the faith and confidence that the Wolverines placed in him even after last year’s brutal 2-4 campaign.
With the win, Harbaugh will also lead Michigan to their first-ever Big Ten Championship Game. The Wolverines have not won the Big Ten title since 2004.
A win in the Big Ten Championship Game will in all likelihood secure their first-ever bid to the College Football Playoff. From there, anything is possible.
Maybe Harbaugh won’t take the opportunity to thump his chest at the doubters. But if he does, he’ll have more than earned the right.
