The regular season hasn’t even begun for the Baltimore Ravens and they’re already running out of options at running back.
Two few weeks ago, Baltimore lost second-year tailback J.K. Dobbins to a torn ACL. Shortly after that injury occurred, Justice Hill suffered a torn Achilles in practice.
As if those two injuries weren’t bad enough, the Ravens lost running back Gus Edwards this Thursday to a torn ACL in practice. He wasn’t the only notable name to go down during practice this afternoon, as Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters also suffered a serious knee injury.
Several people have chimed in on Twitter to share their thoughts on Baltimore’s long list of injuries, including former Ravens running back Justin Forsett.
“Ok this is crazy let me go find my cleats,” Forsett tweeted on Thursday afternoon.
Forsett hasn’t taken an NFL snap since the 2016 season. The best season of his career came in Baltimore, as he had 1,266 rushing yards in 2014.

With the Ravens’ backfield officially in disarray, it’s tough to predict how their rushing attack will perform this season. At this moment, Ty’Son Williams is the projected starter for Week 1.
Baltimore signed Trenton Cannon and Le’Veon Bell this week, so perhaps we’ll see them in the lineup on Monday night in Las Vegas.
