The Cincinnati Bengals selected Ja’Marr Chase with the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The AFC North franchise believes Chase and quarterback Joe Burrow will form quite a passing duo over the next several years.
On Sunday, Burrow and Chase connected on the field for the first time in a game. The Bengals played the Dolphins in their preseason finale, with Burrow making his 2021 debut.
It wasn’t a great performance from Chase.
Chase, who’s struggled with his hands all training camp and preseason, had similar struggles on Sunday. He dropped a screen pass from Burrow early on in the game.
Bengals fans are starting to get concerned.

Burrow sent a clear message after the game, though: he’s not worried.
“I’m not worried about it. I know the kind of guy and player Ja’Marr (Chase) is,” Burrow said following the game.
