LeBron James couldn’t help himself. The NBA superstar trolled Draymond Green in the midst of Ohio State‘s blowout win over Michigan State on Saturday.
LeBron didn’t attend the Ohio State University. So yes, he’s a bit of a bandwagon fan. But we’ll give him some slack considering all he did for the city of Cleveland and state of Ohio during his time with the Cavaliers.
The Lakers star tagged Green in his latest tweet, calling him out for staying quiet on Twitter during Michigan State’s ugly loss. Green played for Tom Izzo and the Spartans during his college hoops days.
“Can somebody check in on my brother @Money23Green please! Haven’t heard from him today,” LeBron said on Twitter. “#GoBuckeyes OH…… @OhioStateFB.”

It’s easy to trash talk opposing fans when your team’s up big. We’ll see later on this season if LeBron sticks with the Buckeyes if the going gets rough. Right now, though, Ohio State looks like the best team in college football.
The Buckeyes breezed to a dominant victory over No. 7 Michigan State on Saturday afternoon. Depending on what happens in tonight’s Oregon-Utah game, Ohio State has a strong chance of moving up to No. 3 in the new CFP rankings.
LeBron, meanwhile, could learn a thing or two from this season’s Ohio State team. The Lakers are in a major slump and need to get things turned around. Perhaps Ohio State could provide LeBron some motivation.
