On Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Clippers learned some bad news about star forward Kawhi Leonard.
The Clippers initially announced that Leonard suffered a right-knee sprain in their Game 4 victory over the Utah Jazz. Later on Wednesday, NBA insider Shams Charania revealed that Leonard suffered an ACL injury.
Los Angeles announced that Leonard will miss Game 5 of the team’s series against the Jazz. It’s unclear if he’ll be able to return to the court at all this postseason.
Following the injury news, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James had a message for the Clippers star.
Here’s what LeBron had to say.

The injury to Kawhi – and several other NBA stars like James Harden and Kyrie Irving – had LeBron upset. He took to Twitter with a lengthy message for the NBA.
“They all didn’t wanna listen to me about the start of the season,” he said. I knew exactly what would happen. I only wanted to protect the well being of the players which ultimately is the PRODUCT & BENEFIT of OUR GAME!”
LeBron made it very clear before the season started that he was not happy with how soon they were going back to the court after the close of the 2020 season.
It seems like he was right to be frustrated.
